NOT ONLY A BIOGRAPHICAL STORY

A little about my origin.

I was born on December 30, 1928 in Belarus, the village of Albrehtovo, Vitebsk region. I was born in a Jewish family.

There were three children in our family: old brother Shmera (Sasha), born in 1922 and sister Mira, born in 1925.

Our mother, Rakhil Natanovna (maiden name Usminskaya) was a cousin to my father Avsey (Yevsey) Davidovich Sulman. Both were buried at the Jewish family in Yekaterinburg.

My father had six brothers: Mendel, Gertsel, Gerson, Girsh-Ber, Beinus and sister Leya. Father was the youngest of them. My uncle Mendel and his wife Leya, uncle Girsh-Ber and wife Leya and daughter Feiga (Fania) lived in the village of Albrekhtovo. All of them died in the occupation in 1941…
