KARPACHI – JEWISH COLLECTIVE FARM NAMED AFTER TELMAN
The village of Karpachi (now Konokhovka), which consisted of 15 houses and had the population of 61 people and were burned in September, 1943.
Place of execution of about 60 Jews from Karpachi (now Konokhovka) in autumn 1941 on the bank of the Sosnovka.
Ivan Matveyevich Kurchikov, born in 1935, indicated the place of execution in the village of Karpachi.
After 1944 the relatives of the executed reburied the bodies in a bed of honor in the village of Babichin.
